New Tires

I am get new tires for my car and have narrowed it down to four choices. I was hoping for some input and personal experience. I have listed below what I am looking at getting and also listed them in descending order or interest.

1. Pirelli P Zero: Very interested but highest cost.
2. Yokohama ADVAN Sport: Very interested, same tires I had on my Nismo. Great Tires.
3. Bridgestone Potenza RE-11: Interested. Never owned Bridgestone’s.
4. Michelin Pilot Super Sport: lest expensive.

Any and all thoughts are appreciated. I want to act before the first real snow of the season. I garage the car for the winter.

How can you put PSS's on the bottom of the list? Looking at your list I would say the PSS is the best tire for the money hands down. I've owned Potenza's and P Zero's (not on this car) but I wouldn't run them on the M..................Phil

I would say the PSS being that it is the best tire I have used in my time with the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs just behind it. On another note, I believe that BMW is going to place the PSS on the M3 so if they approve it maybe we should too.

For a street tire I'd list them in this order:
1. PSS
2. RE11
3. P-Zero
4. Advan Sport

If you are looking for a street-track tire then I'd also consider the RS1, Star Spec and the AD08 as well as the RE11.
