Problem with Angel Eyes

Hello Everyone,

I have an issue with the passenger side angel eye that I am hoping someone on here may be able to help me out with.

For the past year that I have owned the car, the passenger angel eyes would work intermittently at random (the car came with a HID setup). This got progressively worse until they didn't work at all. Figuring that it was a problem with the HID setup or ballasts, I ordered the LUX V3 setup. After installation, I was surprised that the passenger side still did not work properly. Currently, they flicker on and off rapidly and not very bright. I grabbed a voltmeter and checked the voltage coming into both headlight housings. With the V3 connected, the passenger side read only 5 volts compared to 14 for the properly working driver's side. With the V3 disconnected, the leads read 14 on both sides. I have checked and rechecked the wiring and ground; now I'm scratching my head. Does anyone have any insight?

Sounds like you've done your homework so I'd contact a dealer. Could be some random short.
