Madden 2008?

Feel a little juvenile getting excited over a video game, but wanted to see if there was anybody else here picking it up for PS3.........I'd love to play somebody online!

I picked it up yesterday. Graphics are better, gameplay is more smooth, but it takes a couple games to get used to the new controls. It's not much different, but takes some getting used to. What's your ID on there? Should setup a match sometime!

I got it at 10 AM first day it came out. I knew pre-ordering was just for the suckers. They had 3 in stock.

Either way feels exactly the same practically. But I guess there are some new features and such with the game modes.

I really have only played 5 games online since that is what I love playing. I'll do superstar and such later. Work gets in the way.

Did you guys see the guy who is already level 17? I am level 3 I believe with like 5 wins.

Did madden have 60fps last year like ncaa does this year (on the 360)?

I have a PS3 and a 360 but only bought it for the 360...I only have my PS3 for a couple of exclusive games. I was a 2Ksports guy until they forced me to change but I think Madden finally caught up with NFL2K5. Game play is improved...graphics are better...player animations are much improved. It pisses me off because they really don't give my Jags enough credit but other than that it's much improved.

I picked it up last night for PS3. Yeah controls are a little different and I need to get used to it (played madden 07 on ps2 last year). I have a question that I havent been able to find the answer on google.

After a punt/kickoff return/turnover, the playclock is only 25 seconds, and I have barely enough time to get off a play. I dont remember it being only 25 seconds last year. Is this a new rule???

Noticed the exact same thing, I wasn't sure if I was just taking longer to select my play or if the clock was shorter, I got delay of game several times!
