Rather drive a Supercharged Manual or Double Clutch Transmission E9x?

If you had the choice...Would you rather drive a supercharged Manual or supercharged M-DCT? Why?

I think the manual transmission is more involving to drive since you have to do more. But there is no doubt the DCT is faster and I like speed. I would give up the added driver involvement for the added speed. Probably my next car will be DCT or its equivalent if non BMW (Audi, VW, Porsche, Mitsubishi and probably others all have some version of it).

I have a 6mt but if I was to go with force induction, I'd want a DCT. Many reasons but with that kind of power, I'm not gonna risk a mistake downshifting into a turn on a track day. With no supercharger my back end steps out if i miss a rev match.

DCT will always be superior. But! I love my 6mt, it's more engaging.

love my DCT - it is just so good, but if I had to do it again, I'd go 6MT.

Is there anyone that will actually vote something different than what they own? Prob not...
I've never driven a MT SC'd car, but I'm sure it's much easier to surf porn while I drive with the DCT.

After 2 years of owning a sequential transmission (or computer operated) I do have a good need (or want) for both.

On a car as quick as a S/C M3 there is nothing better than ripping through each gear at a click of a button for instantaneous, precise upshifts and downshifts as well...however for the amount of appreciation I have for that experience and technology goes for rowing your own gear in street driving.

One thing I cannot stand in my SMG as well as the DCT is the first gear take off.

Performance alone DCT wins...driving pleasure is 100% an individualized perspective.

If high HP is in mind as well as long term ownership, go 6MT. You will most likely regret DCT at the first major expense.

I voted DCT, but have a 6MT. My supercharged E36M3 was manual transmission and still very entertaining --no doubt about that. But DCT is faster. I can't always have everything I want, but that does not mean I am unhappy with what I have.

7speed manual with same ratio as the DCT!

My only complain about my manual is not the slower shifts(it's slower but I have fun doing it myself), it's the gearing, I think that when I upshift it lands too low in the next gear compared to DCT. 500-1000rpm lower makes a big difference with that kind of engine and even more with this type of supercharger where the real boost is really up top, but since I cruise at 100-120mph often on the highway, changing the gearing is not an option for me!
