For the stuff you see in the regular LV stores, it is nothing compared to what they show you when they invite you to their private gatherings. When I was invited to their private Men's Event they were releasing watches. They even had Benoit Louis Vuitton come in person. Damn tall guy. That aside, he was showing me this hand-crafted watch that takes 2 years to put together by hand. I asked him how much it is, he told me $250,000. Okay.

Then there's the various women's items that they have displayed that night too. There was one purse there constructed of a mix of alligator, snake, and calf skin. Only 1 of 10 in Canada I believe. It had a price tag of $15,000. And Shah, if you think a $200 clutch is expensive, the lady at LV showed me a clutch made out of a million pieces of cracked egg shells glued onto the clutch by hand. The fetching price was $100,000. I asked her, "What kind of exotic egg shells are they made of? Ostrich? Alligator?".

"Chicken" she said.

You know I can't bitch! I'm sitting on my couch and across from me is my second hand 10 year old parachute container that cost me $3k. A new one...$6k easy.

It cost me just north of $2k and one broke shinbone to get my wings to skydive.
So to make my first real solo dive which lasted all of 1 min from 13k ft.

$5k?
$5k/min? Shit even I have to small. So how dare I of all people question?
I guess if the woman can afford it, than you know what...more power to her! And I would be more than happy to date such a smart well employed women who has her life together that she has $10k of spending money.

But if she is putting it on her credit cards......or working another job just to afford it...then I'm not sure how I feel about that...not good.

I live in NJ and go into NYC often to visit friends who live there and for drinks and what not.

On stoner st...the level of $$ just being thrown around by these guys...it's a bit sick!
They dont' want to buy cars and have no reason to buy homes so they just spend spend spend on high end everything.

I was with a friend and talking to this one hedge fund manager, asked him how he got into that game...well after a half an hour of BS...turns out his parents left him with just north of $100mill in a trust fun. And with some of that he and another buddy started up a hedge fund.

Oh well...i guess if the revolution in Iran never happend I would be in his shoes and maybe him in mine. But such is life.

But still....how much for chicken egg shells? WOW! Just...WOW!

at least my car gets me from A-B and my parachute stops me from hitting the ground at like 125mph!

Yes. Exactly. She is no longer a Japanese citizen as she got married in China and is now a Chinese citizen. She also has Chinese blood that I didn't know about until recently.

Just as I wasn't an Amercan until I got my American citizenship.

It i give it up and get a Canadian citizenship, I'll e an ex-American, and instead Canadian.
