I think the DSC is almost fool proof under power, in the dry, around a corner. Under braking is another story.

I was in the middle of nowhere in the Central Valley about a week ago on a back road, all of the sudden, there was a bend in the road. It looked like a slight bend (sign was obscured) but after I entered it, I realized it tightened and was a 90degree bend. I had to do more braking mid corner (maybe not the right thing to do in that situation but it seemed like the only option at the time) which upset the rear end and sent me into a 45 degree slide. I got off the brake and countersteered and corrected the slide (likely with some clever braking from the DSC system also).

Point is, without some important inputs from me, DSC wouldn't have been enough and I would have slid off of the road. But under power, DSC never lets me gets dangerously out of shape in a corner.
