Best coilover kit
hi i currently have the rd sport springs on my car and i am looking to upgrade to coilovers. i have been looking around for a while now but cannot decide which is the best all around. My choices are kw v3s, kw clubsports, ground control kit, bill stein pss10. I track about 3 to 4 times a month so i want something more rough compared to a smooth ride. Please let me know any suggestions you guys have on shocks or coil over kits. thank you so much

Opinions will vary, but my choice would be the KW Clubsports from the list you've provided.

![]() We did place 3rd using the KW Motorsport kit in GTA just a couple of weeks ago, KW was part of the team that made it happen.

After going from the Ground Control kit to KW V3 I can say there is a night and day difference. I can assume the KW Clubsport is even better than the already great KW V3, but seems to be more track oriented which is why I went V3 for my daily driver. I got my set up from EAS and had them install and I couldn't be happier.
I would strongly recommend to stay away from Ground Control though, I had nothing but bad experiences with their product and customer service. |

If you track that often you would be best served by either a KW clubsport, MCS, or JRZ RS. I love my KW CS, the ride is still civil on the street and they rock at the track. I will say that they don't feel quite as awesome as my friend's MCS though.

I ran KW V3's on my E46 M3 back in the day and liked them. They are the best bang for your buck.
However, if I was in my NSX I would not go with any of these setups as they were considered cheap and not on par with Moton, Aragosta, Ohlins, etc. I ran the Aragosta and Ohlins on my old NSX and the KW brand was not even on the same playing field. But for BMWs they arent all that bad. I have had so many suspension setups the past 20 years I would have to say the Aragosta (Tuned by Top Secret) was my best setup. Good luck. |

Spring rates depend on whether you're looking for a street, track or dual-purpose suspension setup. Based on your OP, it sounds like you are looking for a dual-purpose setup biased more toward a track setup? Are you looking at the TCK SA or DA dampers? |

For a more track-biased setup I'd recommend the TCK DA setup over the SA setup or JRZ, MCS or Ohlins dampers. |
