purely cosmetic for my taste, i have CF tips with black therma coated inner pipe and with black diffuser it all blends in. Some like it that way.

damn i was going to take this.. but sounds like it wont work with the AKRA CARBON Tips..

I'm confused... Was there damage to it? Did you repair it and then paint it? Where did you source it from? I guess I'm just trying to understand why someone painted a $900 carbon diffuser black and then selling w fresh paint for $300. If there was no damage I might be interested.

I see people painting 3k front lip... just depends on what you like..

even if this was damage... for 300 cant beat that price. and if it was fixed, photos looks really good.

If it was repaired I think that's important to know. Photos look good but hard to see. Usually when people paint a 3k lip they actually use it because that was the look they were going for. They don't turn around and sell the 3k lip undamaged for 1k.
