that is a strange insight, can you tell me where you felt like it was building?

I felt like I conveyed the point that there are four types levels of quality of carbon fiber and in those for types there is even ranges of quality.

My brother in law makes carbon fiber at a factory and the process is amazing.

However, I don't think you can assume that carbon fiber from Ford vs Ferrari will differ in quality. To my knowledge, only BMW produces it in house. Toyota made a loom for the LF-A but none of their current cars utilize the material. Otherwise, it's an outsourced part like any other.

BMW is not the only one (will search for proof tomorrow if I have time, busy day tomorrow and calling it a night soon)

For Toyota, that is silly, they should just carbon fiber-ify more F series parts.

And for the Ford vs Ferrari (I used Koenigsegg as an example in the article BTW) I believe there is. Look at our carbon fiber parts for our M cars. They are great quality, but look at a Koenigsegg or Pagani carbon part. Like Jurassic Park, spared no expense.

Compare a GT350 wheel to an Regera wheel (even though Ford's is Carbon Revolution wheels I believe). Take design out of the equation and the Koenigsegg wheel still wins.
