Who's on Topeka? Sailing from Bremerhaven on 10/21

Exactly 3 weeks my car sat at the port.... Sigh.

I pinged the good folks at LOG IN OUT in Munich, where I dropped off my car.

I dropped my new coupe off in Frankfurt on October 16th, ...as much as I would like to dream that its on the Topeka which sailed on the 21st from Bremerhaven, its probably going to be sitting in port for the next 5+ weeks waiting on the Elektra or Asian King...doubt I'll see my new M before deep december

primo thanks for the reply, my car is also waiting port, i was hoping it would catch the W&W boat "courage" but nope...it was tehre since the 16th, i am just curious why 3 week wait at the port? im guessing the queue and what not

3 weeks! Damn. I was bummed mine waited 13 days

Dropped off at LOGINOUT on 10/4.

Left on board the Turandot out of Bremerhaven on the 17th.

Of course, the Turandot promptly sailed east for 2 days around Denmark to Goteborg, Sweden. Then, 2 days back around Denmark to Zeebrugge, Belgium. Now she's on her way to Southhmpton, UK...

At least she's headed West now.

Stalking these ships is not for the faint of heart.

That seems to be the standard route. Topeka made the same route last month. Guessing it picked up some Mini's in UK, and maybe Volvo's on the 1st stop.

The queue is long now, both at the German port, US port and VPC.

Hang in there, and try not to think about it.

...holding out a slim hope that my car made it onto the Topeka, otherwise the next one is not till mid November

Using the booking number. I can also track the boat now that I know it's on Topeka via http://www.marinetraffic.com

Yes, as Topeka is a WW ship you can track your car using the VIN

...yah, I just found out my car is on the Poseidon Leader (NYK). On the bright side ETA to Port Hueneme is November 22nd so just a week behind the Topeka.

another way to track a specific ship is to use the free smartphone app or download "Marine Traffic" and punch in the ship's name.

Was to be expected I guess... That's just one day behind though, correct? If so, that should ease some of the congestion at the VPC and allow the cars to move through more quickly. Maybe wishful thinking.
