The latest episode of Fifth Gear saw BTCC veteran Jason Plato enlist the help of ex-F1 pilot Mika Salo to compare the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series with BMW’s M3 GTS.

Bimmer definitely looks and handles better. AMG is not super ugly, I've seen worse, but both cars are amazing.

A mate of mine has a White C63 AMG Black and it looks absolutely awesome and sounds even better.

I have an M3 but I think that c63 AMG black series looks ridiculous! I would love a shot at that car.

I've seen a black series in person and I love the flared out fenders definitely a beefed up AMG!! Didn't look bad at all. This video would by no means make me want to buy a merc though not just based on that..

My neighbor has a matte grey black edition. The wide body looks amazing! I love m3s but that amg is a beautiful car.

The BS definitely has to be seen in the flesh, has a lot of 'presence'. I would personally spec it with the carbon fiber package over that silly rear wing, but other bits you get as part of the Track Pack are pretty cool. I am def a BMW guy, but in this case of asked to chose, I'll check the AMG BS box.
