With all that's said.. I installed my springs today, and took me and a buddy a little under 2 hours.

Time spend
FL: 45 mins
FR: 30 mins
RL: 20 mins
RR: 15 mins

Install was expedited with the help of this DIY: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183011

And so far I am Very happy with the results. It's Just Right with the drop all around..

I will post better pics after I give her a wash.

I'm also gonna have my PSS's put on on Monday F:255 R275. I'm also running 12mm MS Spacers all around, I wonder if the added 10mm in the rears would rub with the spacers on.

Anyways, its late, goodnight

I just got my car back from Malek at MRF engineering. He milled the strut support/mounts, installed the eibachs and e36 bumpstops and peformed an alignment.

I took my car for a 30 min drive around orange county and I have to say its sweet. Its slightly firmer than stock. Hitting high speed bumps feels the same as before (which may be due to the extra travel from the milled strut mounts). Cornering is much better and stays flatter. Small bumps or potholes ride like stock. The car feels much more sporty and connected to the ground. Still a far ways from the feel of my old Cayman S but its getting closer. I'm should have done this mod 30k miles ago.

With the awesome help of elm3 I got my springs/spacers installed today. I'm liking the stance.

H&R sport springs w/ e36 bumps. H&R Spacers 12/15 setup.

David, your car looks badass, I love the stance with the spacers and the ZCP wheels. I can't wait to put my wheels back on. We need to talk more about getting the supercharges for our cars.

With your first picture it totally shows the gap that all lowering springs have for the E92 M3. The Z4MC/Z4MR had the same issues with all their lowering springs. Suspension gets rid of the gap or a front lip.

Just looks off and not right, thus most people after a few weeks to months move back to OEM suspension or coilovers.

But if you are happy with it then thats all that matters really.

It sure beats the gap of stock height. and for daily drivability, I am happy, fits my cup of tea...

Keep in mind it also depends on how much you lower the car on OEM dampers. If you have a ZCP car and you move on to a Eibach Pro kit it only lowers the car an additional .3", this will have very little to no ill effects on the ZCP dampers as they are already setup for a .4" reduction in ride height.

The general rule of thumb is don't lower the car more than 1" from OEM and you won't have issues with the OEM dampers.

Update..

Here is how she sits now...

And by looking at this pic... This isn't low enough? I mean with my meatier tires, The gaps are filled pretty well.no?

I'm getting a slight rub in the rears...

I will be rolling my fenders tomorrow with the Eastwood fender roller. any thoughts or inputs.

Thanks guys.

BTW, no need to comment on my dirty car. it just rained a couple of days ago and have been really busy.. She is now washed down and waxed..

This looks much better with the fatter tires. Bites into the front gap and just about removes it. Well done!

I'm lowered on HR sport springs I lowered it at 15k miles. Now it's at 26k miles and the car is solid. Rides good. With EDC
