Challenge Engineering - E9X M3 X-pipes in Stock!
Challenge Engineering has given us a first look at their X Pipes for the E9x M3. These 304 stainless x pipes are hand built in the United States, and offer three different varieties. The Street X Pipe attaches to the factory catalytic converters for a good increase in power, low noise, and no need for custom software. The Sport X Pipe deletes the restrictive OEM cats and replaces those with Challenge 200 Cell high flow cats for low noise, no smell, and good power. The Race X Pipe will yield the ultimate power increase by deleting the OEM cats, and providing a straight through design.

I have to say this is one of the best mods I got from you guys. the fitment and quality of the welds is spot on. not to mention, the change in sound is transformative, and it provides a nice power bump.

are the top sections of this xpipe interchangable? so if i get a street and want to go catless, can i just purchase the catless pipe alone and change whenever? if so can you PM me price of the street version and the cat delete pipes?
lastly could you post some pics of the top and bottom part seperated?

The Challenge Street with Sport Mufflers (pick your poison) is completely addictive. When IND fired my car up in the shop after the install, I just chuckled out loud. It's perfect for me. Not over the top. Brosef said it best — "transformative." My guess is catless with race mufflers would be primal...

A few members have been asking me to post photos of the Challenge "Street" X-pipe installed. Here you can see the x-pipe mounts directly behind the OEM primary cats. With the "Street" X-pipe ![]() ![]()
