Strange burning smell after hitting 100mph

So 2 nights ago I raced a 335i (won) but as i accelerating rapidly to 100mph, I noticed a strange burning smell. After a few minutes the smell went away but I was wondering if it was just the smell of burning oil or if it was something else.

EDIT: Did some runs and I've found the case of the smell to sometimes occur after I downshift... I have a DCT so I would assume the car is perfectly matching revs so... any advice?

Then it could be anything..

too many burning smell tires, brakes, clutch, cats, excessive gas rich...anything... . if it did not gave you any cel dont worry about it.. at this point it will be hard to pin point on exactly what the problem is... buring smell could be anything.

post on what mods you have... with your description its not detailed enough for us to give you any insight.

could be hot brakes/pads. Like i said could be anything.

do you have 19s?
check your front tire wheel wells.
maybe you were rubbing the front of the wheel well liners at a high speed.
i know i do at very high speeds since i do not have brake ducts so the air just pushed my fender liner towards the tire

I do have 19's but I've never had a problem with rubbing. As for my other mods, all I have is a gintani exhaust and a velos tune. I did some sprinted runs to see and the smell only occurs after I pass 5/6k rpms and hit close to 80-90. My oil temperature remains around 210 so idk

No CEL or errors so ill just wait till my next service to bring it up.

if it smells like rotten eggs, it's the cats and that means you drive it like a grandma. it'll go away after you thrash on it a few times. I had that smell when I put it on the dyno and after the 3rd pull, went away

About. I've had a weird smell after running it hard too. It was over 30k miles ago. I was running it hard. Never had a problem and haven't smelled it since.

Could be? I've ripped it a few times but maybe I need to do her some more justice

Probably exhaust fumes. Between shifts the car will run a bit rich as well when the throttle closes.
