Project Complete: F10 M5 ZHP shift knob with DIY m-stitch for 6MT M3

Just finished installing the shift boot and took it for a spin... Let me first say I agree with the other forum members, this weighted ZHP is a HUGE improvement in shift quality over the stock M3 shifter. For the stitching, this was much easier than I thought it would be, and I have never even so much as sewn a button on a shirt! I used a couple of different DIYs from this forum for instruction. The only tricky part was getting the correct stitch pattern and all I had to do there was read the DIY more carefully. All in all, very simple project if you are patient.

Here are the DIYs:

Thanks! Ran a few errands over lunch today... Seriously... I can't believe how much better it shifts just by changing the shift knob. I guess it is a combo of the shorter throw and the weight. Highly recommended for 6MT owners!
