Dinan intake just installed
Got a really great deal from friend on forum so had to try it. Replaced the filter itself for only about $85 shipped from Dinan. Needed one of the rubber gaskets however (a 2" piece of rubber) and unfortunately that was another $85 shipped. Guess they need to recoup all that R&D money somehow...
Anyways, this was still money well spent and one of my favorite mods to the car. It really sounds incredible at the higher rpms (>3k) and intensifies the v8 growl perfectly. Who knows if it actually adds even the the slightest bit of power, but it sure feels (or at least sounds) faster. I know for a fact however it's not helping my fuel economy because now I can't keep my foot of the gas. Last edited by skins333; 10-11-2012 at 02:15 PM. |
