Motorsport 24 S65 headers

Is there anyone out there with this setup besides ARA5HE90? I would love to hear these headers in combination w/ a full catless exhaust, and I'm curious as to how much power can be produced with a full header back exhaust.

They are gonna be mostly pointless. The OEM manifolds have proven to be very, very well designed. Besides the cost of the manifolds, get ready to pull the motor to get these installed.

Considering you can make 530whp+ with stock exhaust, I'd save the stupid $$s you will spend on headers and get a supercharger...

I've been struggling with knowing that I can buy a supercharger for the price of a full exhaust, but I like the fact of staying NA. We all know going NA is quite expensive compared to FI. I would love to hear a tuned S65 with cams, and a full exhaust.

Point taken, but it seems that there was a nice increase in power on IND's silver ghost build after the headers were bolted on. I understand everyones thoughts about these header, just wanted to see if more people were running them. The hp/$ isn't enough to justify buying them over other mods.

The increase in power could very well be from the new tune.

Larger primaries usually always require the motor to be tuned. If Motorsport24 is using the same primary tube diameter as BMW M, then these headers have no purpose at all. These would be paired greatly with a higher displaced motor.

that makes no sense as a stroker is the best increase of TQ available; not to mention w/ exhaust a tbs makes 527hp

If someone wants to try what looks to be awfully similar to the M24s at a fraction of the cost....

Buy the Schmiedmann S65B40 Headers. It's "only" ~$1400 compared to the M24's at $~3340-3700.

You are going to have a hard time making more power than the stroker on stock displacement while staying NA.

My point was for the money I would rather supercharge than spend $26k on the stroker. Sorry if it didn't come out clear
