I have an odd guggle/bubbling sound

So i overfilled my oil and realized it only after the gauge read "> MAX" I have read around on the forum and some are saying i don't have to worry unless i have a light telling me to go to get it serviced?

I do not have this light but i am starting to hear a guggle sound at idle that gets faster as i rev higher. At first i was thinking it might be something loose but as i kept driving it started to get louder and it started to sound like boiling liquid. I dont know if im thinking too much into it but i do know i did not have this annoying sound before i added too much oil. Anyone have any ideas what this is?

I'd have that taken care of if I were you. Overfilling your oil has the potential to do some very bad things to your engine, much more so than underfilling. Get under the car and drain your front sump. Should only be about 1/2L. Start it up again and see what kind of reading you get after that.

Brought it to the dealership to get the oil removed. Figured I'd just get an oil change. Turned out I needed to go in for a service soon anyway. The odd sound is now gone. Lesson learned!
