Lol. It is odd to see at the track but I am sure that is what new students are thinking when they can't keep up with an old Prius. They come up and ask if I am stock and look at my tires (stock 185 eco tires).

I don't care if it gets 1000 mpgs.... Not getting one. Around where I live, Prius drivers should automatically be required to retake their driving exams once a year just based on what they are driving..... Over the summer I have seen a 4 car pile up (minor one) on a great sunny day on an empty freeway where all 4 cars involved were Priuses.... Go figure ///

until 2015 lolLess time spent in traffic = more time to mess around with the M3 or doing other fun things. Completely agree that I wouldn't have the 2005 if it weren't for the sticker program and definitely would not have the 2012 if it weren't for the SECOND sticker program. Plenty of better cars to be owned for $35-40K OTD, lol. But it's still been an awesomely reliable car. It's good at slogging through commutes and driving on bad roads. Very worry-free experience vs. driving the M3 when conditions are poor (i.e. potholes/gravel trucks) can be tiresome.

I have a plugin 2012 Prius too, and of course the BMW.
I drive 150-200 miles a day, so the Prius' efficiency is stunning. And it's great in traffic, while the BMW is fast an fun - only on open roads with no traffic. |
