*** Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #62: "Portraits" ***

Theme and Rules:
Well i checked and we had a self portrait once and a B&W portrait which was the first contest, i like portraits, so lets see some.. By definition :Portrait photography or portraiture is a photography of a person or group of people that displays the expression, personality, and mood of the subject. Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is usually the person's face, although the entire body and the background may be included.

Important Dates: Entries must be submitted no later than Friday, Sunday 30th at 11:59pm GMT, so you'll have two weekends. Voting begins the following day.

GENERAL RULES:
1. Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Bimmerpost.com rules is welcome.
2. You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
3. One submission per contest, and you cannot resubmit a photo that you've submitted before in a previous contest.
4. Images must be no larger than 1024px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 1024px for the poll.
5. All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on Bimmerpost).
6. All images must have a title.
7. While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.

this is an unlikely contender for me, but there's something in this guy's eyes that you just can't find in other subjects. maybe it's just because i know him, but hopefully he makes you feel uneasy too. this is a 6x6 film frame, scanned at home.

I'm always last minute for my entries because I like to take a new shot for every contest so I pretty much need the first week to think about my entry and the second week to make it happen ;p

Should submit mine somewhere between saturday night and the deadline.

This one is from earlier this year, I was learning to use my Speedlite flash off the camera, I was holding the flash in one hand and the camera with my other hand.

i really don't have anything new or recently old to submit. and nothing planned to shoot until october 1st, and even then, have to wait for development/scanning.
