The upcoming BMW i8 hybrid electric sports car will effectively be BMW's halo sports car once it's released in 2014/2015. And although an M version is not expected to be released, we couldn't help but let our imagination run wild a bit for an M model race version, including a full carbon fiber model. Enjoy!

There will be no i8M.
M will get their own opportunity and possibly at a higher price than the i8.

If you combine the attributes of the i8 with its lightweight body contributing to dynamic and nimble handling combined with an exclusive (to the i8) high performance three cylinder engine you get an exciting new direction for sports cars.

The i8 is revolutionary with every turn.
