A few of us from Bimmerpost attended a 3-day HPDE at Laguna Seca this weekend hosted by the Porsche Club. We had a great time and had a good representation of BMW's. Just thought I'd share some photos and videos from the event.

I think there were about 10-12 of us. We are just his customers and wanted to represent.

Great videos! The camera position is excellent, very cool to see the track from that perspective.

Yea it's great because you get a nice view of the track as well as the driver. Next time I'm going to do this view but also try to position the driver side mirror to reflect directly behind the car. I think that would be pretty cool to see behind me as well all in one video.

Yea my tires were rubbing on the fenders quite a bit through the cork screw. I think I need to stiffen things up just a bit more. It does look cool though.

By the way I understand you use Dashware for the video and Harry's lap timer for GPS but what source do you use for the MPH and RPM data? Thanks.

I don't use Harry's, but an AIM Solo DL hooked up to my ECU.
