Chuck's Daily Driver

Hi all,
Took some time to refresh my car after 5 years of ownership and wanted to share some photos. Replaced a couple of OEM and a few aftermarket parts. Car has gone through several different phases but below are a few pictures as the 2016 year comes to an end. Happy holidays and enjoy!

For anybody who is willing to put in the time and get some hands dirty, installations have been mostly straightforward. As usual, there were a few challenging situations... Here's a note for anybody considering upgrading the rear end links on an e9x M3. The clearance for the bolt is minimal and got a wrench stuck; had to grind off the bolt and eventually opted to replace with M7x50mm bolt+nut. Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about...

I'd like to thank tlrid3r (forum member), Jeff@Essex, Mike Benvo@BPM, Evan@Tischer along with a few other vendors/sellers from the forums. All have been very helpful in this process.

-Charles

I'm not too big on being a critic for parts, but will say the following...
AP Racing 9660 Front BBK has a great pedal feel. Quality parts for quality product; expect your moneys worth. Still waiting for the rear kit.
Ohlins R&T Coilovers+Vorshlag Camber Plates has a lot more manual adjustment but I settled for ZCP-ish height and moderate dampening.
Akrapovic Slip On exhaust has a good exhaust note, weight savings, and performance.
Challenge Rear Diffuser fits and compliments the angle of the akrapovic exhaust
Modecarbon V1 Front Lip looks the best without sacrificing clearance. Quality part and greatly enhances front of the e9x chasis. V2/V4 has their own appeal as well as pros/cons. GTS wing would be nice but don't think it's a stock item...
Dinan Intake/Strut Bars - mostly cosmetic parts... but looks good IMO!
BPM Combox Retrofit/backup cam/BT upgrade/coding brings my car up to date with Bluetooth streaming! Install was straightforward but most importantly was the wonderful customer service!

Overall, fairly pleased with recent modifications. I'll do my best to answer questions for anybody who is curious on these parts/install. I do have a few installation photos but not sure how many people are interested.

Haha, thanks all for the suggestion. Will be considered for 2017.

I am actually for the orange reflectors though, it compliments the amber angel eyes/DRL and euro blinkers. Contrast keeps the OEM style together and makes some great mono/contrast photos!

The e30 is definitely a classic chassis. Would've shared more photos but somebody forgot to remove their front license plate.

Yup yup. Definitely a great standard color to take photos of in all types of scenary.. Here are a few more photos from my more amateurish photo-taking days.

Here are some more pictures of the grey 335i.

The reward is simply being able to drive it whenever and however we like

Thanks all for the comments. Glad to see people still appreciate style almost 10 years old!

The AP Racing Radi-Cal kit is definitely an awesome upgrade if you don't mind the price; quality/performance are top notch and overall looks very clean!

I actually don't have too many photos of my car as I like/expected, but here are a few more.

And my favorite wall paper photo! For now...

Yes sir. Good ride height clearance for speed bumps and most ramps. It will not clear parking blocks...
