Should have just done what a lot of US dealers do and give the customer a Camry as a loaner.

^it wouldn't be fair because we pay 60k+ for a car and get a Camry as a loaner..

So the dealer hired a repo team to get the loaner back even though his car is at the dealership waiting to be fixed? There has to be more to the story than this.....

Yea I think the best option is to give customers something they don't want. We give MINIs at our dealer.
