Great customer service. Reaon 1,746 why HRE can't be compared with other so-called high end makes. I'll be sure to buy a set of HRE at some point.

The shop name should be exposed.

Wow +1 on service. This isn't even their issue, but awesome to see a company stand like that behind their products. I think HRE will be getting some more customers. I'm certainly sold...

Still does not excuse the perpetrators though.

HRE to the rescue! OP, but you still need to call out the clowns who did this. unfortunately, they are a disgrace to the HRE dealer network

Class act on HRE's part. That's awesome. Now that you are taken care of, please reveal the name of the shop. The fact that they tried to deny proper repair should be enough of an excuse I think.

Pay attention ADV.1, this is how it's done.

Truely amazing customer service especially when you had nothing to do with it.

Since looking at aftermarket wheels, its been a big back and forth for me between HRE and DPE. Guess who just won... Wow... HRE, good job.

Wow HRE, well done. HRE was already on the top of my list of possible wheels, but now there's no list.

OP, congrats on a wonderful resolution to a nightmarish problem.

I don't think there's a real pressing need to name the offending shop.

I'm sure HRE would have corrected them about their techniques by now to prevent any such problems again in future.

If they are such a huge HRE dealer then they would wanna change their methods to continue being one.

Everyone makes mistakes and we can only hope to learn from them.

Btw damn fantastic service and resolution from HRE.

If my BBS CHR didn't look so damn similar to the P40SC (which I'm absolutely in love with) I would be all over them.

Unreal. You are not only saving the customer but more importantly you are helping this shop save face by not getting them called out. That being said I would still like the OP to call out the shop. SAVE OTHER ENTHUSIAST the same fate and a worse fate when the manufacturer won't come sailing in to the rescue.

Huge props to HRE here!

Slightly OT but I had a loosely related issue with a tire shop up in Long Beach. The damaged my brand new RAC wheels AND brakes and beat on them with tools that should never have touched the hats (rotor hats). Since they wanted to be total a-holes about it I took them to small claims court and won. Shop was Performance Plus on Cherry Ave in Long Beach. Link. Steer clear of these guys.

Wow, I guess I'll prob go HRE's if I decide to get aftermarket wheels. Frankly surprised at how much they're going out of their way here.

Come on OP, rat out this shop. They fully deserve it, not only for their screw up but for how they so marginally attempted to make things right. Save the rest of your fellow forum members and the BMW enthusiast community such an absolute travesty on their beautiful new wheels. Inquiring minds want to know!
