Online Trading - Schwab, E-Trade, etc
Looking for some opinions.
I am looking to start investing in some stocks, etc and have been looking at various online trading sites like E-Trade, Schwab, Scottrade, TD Ameritrade. All seem to have pros and cons from reviews I have read. Do any of you use any of these or recommend one in particular? Thanks

You are better off buying mutual funds from Vanguard. Reason: they are one of the few companies that charges the lowest fee. i dont see buying individual stocks as a smart investment unless you know exactly what you are doing.

I used etrade now use fidelity. Both are good options.
I am a rep so we can only use preapproved brokers. If you are just an individual investor there are many other cheaper options. You need to specify what you need/require? Research data, cheap trades, platform/graphs, what you want to trade (options, stock, currency)? This will help you narrow down the options. |

That thread doesn't really answer your question directly, but it's a good source of information on this board. I use TD Ameritrade |
