E92 - Schroth Quickfit Pro Install
With 370 posts on the other thread, I thought I would add a simple install guide with pics. It took me about 30 minutes.
1. Buy the mini harnesses - HMS were very prompt 2. Tools: Torx T50 socket; torque wrench for 30 ft pounds; a vice with pliers for bending the Schroth brackets 3. Front: Pop the rubber cover off the Torx bolt at the front of the seatbelt rail 4. Undo the T50 bolt 5. Determine how much you want to bend and twist the Schroth bracket. Do it. I tried to get the angle and twist so that it aligned with the direction the belt would pull. 6. Tighten the T50 bolt to 30 ft pounds 7. Trim the rubber boot so that it fits back over the T50 both with the Schroth bracket 8. Rear: Remove the seat cushion - pull up, some effort is required 9. Undo the T50 bolt 10. Determine how much you want to bend and twist the Schroth bracket. Do it. I tried to get the angle and twist so that it aligned with the direction the belt would pull. 11. Tighten the T50 bolt to 30 ft pounds. I did not use the 13mm nut an washers provided by Schroth, because the factory T50 bolt fits just fine 12. Reinstall the seat cushion

Man I'd really prefer it was a crash tested solution in the 3 series like the E46 setup was. I'm not sure PCA will allow that setup BTW. They will not allow 4-point setups, though I did get them to give the E46 coupe quickfit pro an exception because it's DOT approved in that car.
Someone showed up at lonestar PCA last weekend with what look like your setup in an E92, and I didn't call them on it - but technically I should have.
