Weird thing Happening?
So I was at the track today and after a 20~25min session i opened to trunk and my god it was like an oven in there. It was a dramatic increase in temperature from before the session, i had to empty the trunk before the session. Has anyone experienced this? I am thinking it has to be the exhaust or something? can anyone point me in a solution? FYI I am running a AA HFC Xpipe with a UUC axel back. Thanks all for the help!!

Mine also gets really hot. It got hot enough to melt the bond of the duct tape I had holding my EDC sims to the top of the trunk, annoying.

When I go at the track, I put a frozen pizza in the trunk for that last session before lunch break. After the session, voilą, perfectly cooked pizza for lunch
.Kidding aside, seems pretty normal to me . |

My guess is that a catless or high flow setup might contribute to added heat since there are no cats/less cats to hold the exhaust heat in.

You could try. There are already heat shields under the car but if you are concerned, then give it a shot.
