*ESS DCT software now available thru E-Flash*

We are happy to announce that our M3 E-DCT software can now be installed via our current E-flash remote tuning cable. We have been running performance DCT software in our cars and our customers cars since 2009 but until now it has only been made available when we had direct access to the vehicle. We have been reluctant to offer a remote DCT programming solution to the general public until we had a simple and safe way for customers to do it.

Customers can now use one cable to program our NA software, supercharger software and DCT transmission software providing a complete solution for all of our products. There is a noticable difference in the shifting of the DCT transmission with our performance software. Whether you are NA or supercharged this is a great addition for the M3.

So this can be done with the cable used to tune? Or is it a separate cable? I have the black one by the, not v2 (white/clear) one that I've seen around.

Can you PM me pricing for this software? Very interested as I track my car allot.

How is low speed driveabilty? Smoother? Jerkier? What other type of improvements have been made? All the first post really tells us is that their is a 'noticeable difference' and that you can flash it remotely, it doesn't say if its a good or bad difference or what the difference really is.

Need to see some facts before committing.

Low speeds, cruising and in lower DCT modes very similar to US spec DCT software. In higher DCT modes and under load / WOT the transmission gets into gear firmer and faster. Less slip on the clutch also results in better longevity.

Settings are the same, only difference is that the clutch will engage quicker.

I think he means some DCT tunes people are doing lower the Launch Control RPM to 3200rpm instead of 5400rpm.
