Small Door Ding (Now What??)
My 2012 passenger side door fell victim to someone (unknown) carelessly swinging open their car door. Basically my door took the hit dead center. Cut into the paint and even dented the impact area. Now what??? Should I attempt the touch up paint approach (rarely matches the original color)? Should I dig into the finances and have the damages professionally corrected (likely includes door removal and painting of entire door)? Lastly should I try my best to ignore the damage and learn to live with it (Near Mission Impossible)???
Anyone else faced this ultimate decision? What was the outcome? Photos soon. Last edited by M~FACTOR; 08-19-2012 at 08:45 AM. |

If it has a crease and chipped paint- body shop.
If it's a ding and you can live with the chipped paint- PDR guy. I've done this so many times before, luckily I found an outstanding PDR guy in my town. |
