Flat/frozen red does not look good at all IMHO. The car looks like it's screaming for some clear coat.

Definitely not my cup of tea.

Interesting color, but having trouble figuring out why it's a special edition.

Another sticker/badge job with no added value for extra cost. So dumb for a "performance edition".

they are getting out of hand with these frozen colors. they should have stopped at silver and black. these other colors just look like cars that have never been washed and left out in the sun for years, discolored. ugly in my opinion.

I like the interior a lot. One thing I notice in that picture of the seat back is a rocker switch on the shoulder...anyone know what that's for? My '08 e90 doesn't have it...are the upper shoulder bolsters adjustable on this too?

Hah "performance edition?" More like "poser edition."

Damn car is identical to a stock car with some foofy styling perks. Get this shit out of here, BMW. Start making some actual performance upgrades on things you call as such.

I rather have the gorgeous black E24 that's following behind in one of those pics. It looks like it might be an M635CSi... now that's a real //M car!!

Out of curiosity, does anyone know as to who actually makes these business decisions? Is it BMW M GmbH themselves, or is it done by parent BMW's marketing department? I suspect the latter.

Well, it is special and individual if you can spare the cash. You pay for being "individual". I gladly spent.

Not feeling that finish at all. It should have something special like 450hp to qualify the Performance label.

I suspect its a douche bag, just my two cents.

I like knowing that all the other M3s I have had were not the M performance.

I don't think it's about money, or squeezing ever dollar out of the e9x m3 because they only made 30. That money doesn't mean shit to BMW. But idk not impressed.

Fast forward twenty five years. We know these cars are collectable. I'd say a 1 of 30 Frozen Red will bring more than 1 of 15,000,000 Alpine White. They're creating an investment class of car.
