Is Stelvio Pass Closed October 9th?

Hi;
I have read that the pass is open from mid-May to the end of September. I also read an Italian web-site that it was open until early November.
I was planning a drive through Stelvio on October 9th. Is that even possible??
Thx!

PS - If not Stelvio, then Livingo from Fussen to St. Moritz was suggested?

Totally depends on the amount of snow.

depending on snow and situation, but in regular cases it will work...

EDIT: I know it's not BMW related but Car & Driver has a nice video of Jethro toying around with a Ferrari 458 Spyder on the Stelvio Pass. Search "Ferrari Stelvio Pass" on YouTube.
