2. It has 20 psi boost. Most people don't know what that means, and in any case, it's just one of countless variables designed into an engine. The only thing that matters ultimately is output. It is what it is. Pointless.
3. It's cheaper than... hmmm. Let's compare it to a Ferrari 458. Wow. It's cheaper. How 'bout a 911. Wow, cheaper. This thing is a world beater.
That's it? That's all they could come with to convince us to buy their product?
This is why American car makers are where they are. They've spent the last 30 years building the cheapest thing they can make, then, assuming the public is stupid, relying on dishonest marketing to sell to the ignorant masses.
Are you seriously bitching about the commercial? It's a f@cking commercial for crying out loud.
+1.

The M3 in there was for comedy. Maybe they're saying you can have fun with far less money, but the M3 blows past the focus, they're not implying they're on the same playing field.

It's kind of sad that the M3 has only 25 more lb-ft of torque than that Focus. But the benefit of it is 8300rpm

I never like the kind of commercials where they use other companies cars and straight up bash on them. I think its a predictable way to advertise your vehicle. When i think of subcompact cars i think of impreza, gti, civic si, mazdaspeed 3, etc.. focus st isn't even on the chart. they should have took the time to show what great features the car has rather than going on a limb to showoff what people have no idea about

I test drove the previous generation of ST and it was awesome!
For sure this new one is better, but the design, the quality of the interior, the steering wheel design is....

Ford has Manual Transmission!
Big plus in my opinion.
Hope more young people will demand it after seeing this AD.

that's what i was thinking. if im buying a ford for $30k well ummm there's this thing called a mustang gt and it is pretty cool for $30k instead of a st. on a side note anyone realize the HUGE grammar error in the commercial? "what makes an st an st?" hahahha i'm not a grammar nazi but that's is just basic elementary grammar rules. i only bring it up since it's a commercial coming from a company like ford.
Actually, grammar rules state that for an acronym you use an if the spelling of the letter starts with a vowel. So while an S is a consonant, the spelling of it is "ess". Using an is correct, using a is incorrect.
