Aftermath of M3 vs Owl

An owl flew into my car on my way home at 5am this morning. The impact was pretty loud and totally caught me off guard. Dented the hood and broke a headlight. There's tiny pieces of meat in the headlight and my dog can't stay away. lol Now I've got to deal with insurance.

Update July 28:
A geico claims adjuster checked out my car and estimated the cost for parts & labor to repair the damage is $1700+ which seemed like they were lowballing me. Dropped off the M at TNT Autobody in Sacramento to have it done correctly. Will update again with the results and total costs.

Son of a... Id stuff that bastard and hang him in the living room. Fox got me once at 160kph when I had the Z3M. Needed a completely new front bumper, he needed new intestines...

I hit an owl once. It hit the window though. Scared the shit out of me. It sounded like a big rock hit the window.

Damn, that owl must have been huge. It's either that or you must have been going faster than I was coz the impact broke your headlight and dented the hood.

A big brown bird (don't know what kind) hit my right headlight as well last year. I was taking the backroads home going around 40-45 mph. Didn't see the bird coming. Just heard a loud thud on the right side of the car. Got down, saw that it was a big brown bird. The bird was still intact, bleeding, and shaking. Since I don't want anyone running over it, I used my foot and put it aside of the road. I have a pic of it on my old phone. Lemme find my old phone so I could post a pic of the bird. Headlight had some blood stains and a scuff mark. I just hosed it down when I got home and the scuff was removed by a polishing wheel.
