Alekshop Oil Cooler Group Buy

Alekshop oil cooler was developed for the street, track and supercharged cars to reduce operating oil temperatures. If you drive your car hard and track it occasionally you might know that oil temps tend to reach 270F + degrees and force you to do cool down laps. Alekshop oil cooler was tested at the track and has a proven record to lower oil temps by 13% (32F degrees) compare to the factory oil cooler. It staggered fin core design doubles the number of fins while maintaining the same distance between the fins for a perfect air flow. We also added 6 more oil line rows to efficiently cool the oil. This oil cooler accepts factory oil lines and fits in the same location as the factory oil cooler. Plastic shroud needs to be slightly trimmed to fit new oil cooler.

Glad to see alekshop still showing market interest on the e9x platform. I'm sticking with my e92 for long time cause I still love it. I have one of the first oil cooler installed on my car I was really excited about the pice, and I tracked it twice so far. Oil temps are spot on stable, did not pass 240. After replacing my rod bearing I wanted anything that will help improve oil life. This oil cooler does it perfectly, specially for the price point. On street driving, I have gone on canyon cruise with the gf on a hot day with AC on and temp were spot on. I really have appreciated the improvements. Here is a front image of the cooler at Infineon

We run this cooler on our shop M3 and it works great. We have installed them on customers cars and the feedback has been very positive.

We have had a lot of demand for a group buy so for a limited number of M3post members we are doing a group buy for $770 just in time for track season.

Here you can see how stable oil and water temps are throughout the session which makes your S65 super happy.

i'm assuming velocity is being used as the speed of the car?

also, how do you guys feel about the black vs. silver coolers. i had an interesting read on another forum about the science behind black coolers being slightly more efficient- contradictory to the instinct that it would be hotter.

I'm interested, would you ship to the UK or allow me to arrange shipping?

You are correct, velocity is speed. We have tested both black and silver and we could not record a measurable difference between the two. It really just comes down to personal preference on the finish.
