For what its worth, I think it looks perfect. I agree that the height and dimensions are just right for a DD. And living in CA, the roads can be great for miles and then all of a sudden you hit patches of some of the worst hazards in the world (unpainted speed humps, giant pot holes, etc...) I would want a lip that I wouldnt have to constantly worry about especially at this price tag.
