Seriously looks like they're on ice. How difficult is it to stay between two painted lines?

That all seems to be in the same area. So there must be some sort of issue. Granted driver has a role but maybe there is something else?

I know this video was posted before.
Wasn't it due to a water leak, that was causing a layer of ice in the tunnel? Or am I just giving them way too much credit, and are they that bad at driving.

Not sure what the truth is behind the video, but, from what I was able to find out; no one died, the tunnel is about 3000 meters long under a body of water, and in the winter time water leaking on the road freezing and cause this problem.
Which does not explain the one where the two trucks collide. I looked and looked and could not tell where the second truck came from. But again someone claim there is some sort of service entrance on the side of the tunnel. if you look close you can see what appears to be a gate. I can believe the water leaking through and freezing on the surface. I have see this on the PA Turnpike, they have these long tunnels and water from the mountain above leak throughs and freeze instanctly to the road surface during the winter. Usually they are pretty good about keeping it clear. Last edited by Maestro; 07-16-2007 at 12:16 PM. |
