TCU module and BMW Assist.

Does removal of the TCU module disable BMW assist and tracking of the vehicle? Simple question...

TCU = Assist and Bluetooth

No TCU = No Assist no Bluetooth

Thanks. Its out. There's some feedback now being generated through the cars audio system, even when tbe stereo is off. I guess I'll deal until the matter is sorted out.

You need a MOST termination loop.

Well I hear it is possible they can get access to the location services side of BMW assist.

They do have to pay for the data. Usually via a simple skip tracer monthly subscription.

IF it is BMWFS you can be sure they will give-up your parking address to the repo company in a heartbeat.

Best of luck!
