19" Flat Black TE37SL's

Back in March, I was looking for wheels to replace my stock 359m's. My prereqs where a 19" forged wheel that was light and not too expensive. TE37sl's were exactly what I was looking for, but I was never a fan of that polished lip. So I started looking at the Volk G2's as an alternative because they came in a black finish. I contacted Aleks at Alekshop to place an order and he told me that there was a black finish for the SL's, but I had to special order them. So that's what I ended up doing.

Four months later, they finally arrived. During that time I ended up picking up a set of 18" TE37sl's for the track, but that's another story.

I had Yokohama AD08's on my stock wheels because they doubled as a street and track wheel, but now that I have a setup for both, I went with the Pilot Super Sports for my street tires. I don't drive aggressively on the street and didn't want to deal with rubbing issues so I went with a modest 255/35 and 275/35 setup. The TE37sl's have an aggressive offset already so no spacers needed.

Thanks to Aleks at Alekshop for getting me these wheels and mounting/balancing them for me!

Here's a studio shot of the wheel:

And here are a few quick photos of them mounted on the car:

Unrelated, but thought I'd share:

I didn't put the red sticker on because it just doesn't go well with my yellow brembos. I'll probably do black or white stickers at some point.

Also before some of you complain, there are no center caps for these wheels and I plan on grinding away the rust on the hub and possibly painting them black.

Update 1: Here's a photo with the yellow stickers. Looks great, but a little too much for a daily driver.

Update 2: I ended up going with a gloss black sticker which is very subtle, but I love the texture.

Sweet Wheels.

You execute great taste all around, but I think I like your stock ZCP wheel as a street setup since you already have TE37 SLs for the track.

P.S. Can you let me know how you have your V3s setup. Your ride height looks perfect for daily driving.

I like my stock wheels as well, but I just wanted something different and a bit lighter. If I didn't wait so long for these wheels I might have gotten something slightly different in style (back to the G2's??). But these wheels do look different than the track wheels since the 19's have the much deeper lip.

Also, I'll be using these at the track on rainy days since I'm running PSC's on the track wheels.

Compression and rebound are set in the middle. I'd have to go measure the distance from the ground to the top of my wheel well for the height. My car was corner balanced so it might be a bit different.

Fortunately for Mark, after 4 months of waiting his wheels came in and they fit/look great ! I think these wheels are perfect match for his car !

Unfortunately for me, my wheels came in with Mark's but they don't fit

His suspension is set to 26" on all 4 corners with 3/4th of the gas tank and driver ...

Thank you Aleks

You really have his car looking good. I'm pretty sure I've said this in other threads, but Marks car is one of my favorite on the forum.

Can you run a 285/35/19 on the rear without any rubbing and 265/35/19 on the front without any rubbing issues lowered?

Thanks
