Need a helmet

I'm signed up for the Sept 14th High Performance Driving class at Pacific Raceways. This is my first track class and I need to pick up a helmet. 425 Motorsports is just down the street from my work. Good place to buy?
Also, other than the correct Snell rating, anything I should watch out for? A helmet is not inexpensive so I want to make sure I get the right one.

425 should be a decent place to look. I say buy what fits yer noggin and don't let anyone sucker you into something too expensive. I tried on Bell and Pyrotect open face helmets and the cheaper Pyrotect was waaaay more comfortable for my head, so I went with that. Get the current SA2010 rating.

I have a HJC AR10. It's comfortable and it works for me, price is probably the most attractive thing about it, your not paying an arm and a leg.

When I was shopping around I also looked at the HJC SI-12 and Arai GP-5. I decided to save the 500+ dollars though, and put it towards track days instead.

I also run the hjc ar-10. Good helmet and decent price. Pick what fits best. Low profile was also a requirement for me to fit in the car as close as I like to sit. Take your car and test fit inside the cabin if you can.

What I used to do for motorcycles is go to any local store and try on a bunch and figure out what fits and works for you. Then I'd go to http://www.helmetexpress.com and buy it for cheaper
