I have the Dinan Stage 2 on an otherwise stock 2011 E93 Zero issues car looks great, rides great and handles great It's more expensive than some other options, but since endorsed by BMW, I feel better with their products on my car happy driving

Just to be clear it is NOT endorsed by BMW.

^^^+1, also to be clear their parts only carry a Dinan warranty, not BMW.

and just to be clear...er.... to be honest I do regret my stage 3 as wish I would have just gotten full coilovers and called it a day. That being said, I love the Dinan for what it is, a great compromise suspension upgrade, and I purposely used upgrade because that's how I felt things are both on the road and track.

Satisfaction or regret would be dependent on your expectations of the suspension change. What are you hoping for?

I loved the Dinan stage 1 on my last e92. Nice subtle drop and ride/performance maintained. The only gripe I had was that I couldn't go aggressive with my wheel offset in the back. I'd get the dreaded rub on decent dips/bumps, even without passengers. I don't plan on deviating from the stock suspension this time, it's sublime! If I happen to change my mind, I'd go with Dinan again and use their spring pocket + 1/8" spacers in the back.

It's high priced and a hardly noticeable drop. I would (and I did) just get Eibach springs or KW coil-overs (I will be soon).

Endorse may be a strong, or incorrect word, but I am quite sure that use of their aftermarket parts, unlike others out there, will not void a BMW warranty. While not 100% clear on the OP's intent, as a DD, I think the Dinan set up is perfect...coilovers would be complete overkill, unless you intend to track an awful lot

I'm looking for a cosmetic improvement on my non-EDC e92 that isn't too aggressive since (a) I have carbon splitters that I don't want to scrape and destroy and (b) I plan to drive it in the winter on reasonably good days, but unexpected snow depth can sometimes arise.

So the Dinan Stage 1 suspension seems to be just what I am looking for, but I'd like to learn from the experience of others who've had it installed, hence the request for info relating to problems or regrets with it.

It voids your warranty on that part and potentially related systems like other aftermarket parts. If your BMW dealer is also a Dinan dealer, they will be more sympathetic and helpful.

Hmm...never been my particular experience, and I have put Dinan gear on all of my BMW's, with never an issue. I lease all of them, and simply turn them back in with the Dinan parts on them. Perhaps I have a great dealer and/or have been lucky. Regardless, the Dinan parts have been superb, and I recommend them to anyone considering them.

Same expectations as I had - No regrets with stage 1. You will plow snow when it's > ~10cm. It'll be like a minefield when there are snow/ice chunks on the road.

2011 BMW E90 M3  [5.00]
2013 BMW 328i  [5.00]
If you have a Dinan friendly dealer, the Dinan upgrades are great. The drop is similar to the comp pkg, the Dinan setup sits a tad lower in the rear.

If you're close to the end or out of warranty, it's a waste.

Here is my experience with Dinan suspension and BMW warranty.

I had Dinan suspension on my 2008 M5. It was an improvement however the anti-sway bar links made noise over bumps as they would come loose. Removed the Dinan anti-sway links and put the stock links back in. Kept the Dinan springs in. Started to get a clunking noise in the steering rack and the wheel felt loose. Took it to 3 diferent dealers and they would not work on it unless I agreed to pay the shop rate. They all told me to take the spring out and bring it back. I did and the dealer replaced the streering rack under warranty at approx. 5k miles. It was a pain so I left the suspension stock. Just know what you may be faced with if something goes wrong.
