How we do it: We have spent countless hours on the dyno refining our software for the E9x M3. We have raised the torque limiters, modified intake and exhaust VANOS maps, adjusted base ignition angle, ignition angle at full load, maximum relative load maps, and full / part throttle fueling. The end result is an M3 with more power, torque, and better fuel economy *yes thats right, it's common to see 1-2mpg gains also. All of our files are developed in the USA using a combination of Dyno Tuning (we own a Dyno Dynamics), VBOX Street Tuning, and Track Tuning. Tunes are done a few ways here at Eurocharged. 1. Visit us or one of our many dealers or tuning days located all over the globe (see link for dealers below) 2. Send us your ECU to our Headquarters in Houston TX. We will tune it and ship it back. 3. Add a MyGenius to your tuning package and tune the car in your own driveway! Combine your tune with our BMW MYGenius Handheld Programmer for easy switching between files.   What does this mean to you? Well you will now have the capabilities of flashing and reflashing your car in the convenience of your own home, and you keep the flasher for future use! MyGenius is the most versatile instrument ever invented for serial programming through OBDII. It uses all recent communication protocols (K-Line, Can and J1850), which allows us to read and write the ECU of most vehicles. We don't have the time or staff to be able to make a thread for each application we tune (because there are hundreds) and especially since we are on an E90 based site we are only marketing these tunes that apply. We do it all though. |

Does your catless tune preserve obd2 readiness like evolve's catless tunes? Do you also update to the latest DME software before uploading your tunes? How much does it cost for future retuning? My car is currently stock but I plan to go catless once the warranty expires. I am also located about an hour from Toronto, do you guys do coding also?

I've said this numerous times in other threads - If you need dyno proof then I'll knock $100 bucks off this tune and you can pay for the dyno if you share the results with us to post. In 4 months - nobody has wanted to take me up on it yet we've sold hundreds of tunes on here and other forums for the e9x M3. Unfortunately we don't just have an M3 sitting around our shop to dyno so it's not readily available to do (or it would have been done a long time ago). Also most of our tunes are shipped out - not done in house. Because of this we have limited opportunity to ask customers who come in to dyno their cars. On top of that - we lost our dyno and shop to a flood in early Feb and are just now getting fully set up into our new place which has an open house tomorrow, however the dyno is still not ready.
There are plenty of guys around who run our tune so feel free to ask around but if you need a photo of the dyno then I can't help you at the moment until someone takes me up on my offer. If you're up for it please feel free to PM me for the details. |
