Just purchase a 2013 FR-S. Do I make a mistake?

I just purchase a SCION FR-S.

I will like to learn track driving skill.

Do I make a big mistake?

The recent road tests of it and its twin the Subaru BRZ are very positive. You may need to upgrade the tires though if you want to track it.

the basic chassis setup is driver oriented and a tuners wet dream

lightweight, low cost, low center of gravity of drivetrain due to flat-4 engine configuration, manual transmission and rear wheel drive (with LSD?).

I'm sure it won't be long before you see turbo 500+hp versions by tuners

Why would that be a mistake? I wish I had bought one myself although I like the BRZ a bit more. Nice car am well priced IMO. I haven't had a chance to drive one but from all the reviews, it should be a very exciting car to enjoy.

As you track-only car? While you have an M3 as well so you can track that later? Great decision! I want to test drive one as well, but probably the BRZ.
