I always thought that the whole idea of an M3 convertible as silly... The M3 is true track car and for them to compromise it by making it a drop-top (now with steel roof) is just stupid (IMO).

I wonder what the price would be? maybe pushing $75k+ for the hard top.

retractable hard tops have a bit of a sleeker look with the top down, but it is a lot of weight, not only in the top, but the hardware to raise and lower it. Just on the 335, the cabrio is 3957 lbs. and the coupe is 3582 lbs.
