Drove a CL63

So my buddy was on vacation and he asked me to check in on his cars and start and drive em to keep batteries charged (he has 3 MB's). So 1 is a 08 CL63. I just had too (Im sure he knew I would). I took it out to the 215 and gave it a little test run. Heaps of power and torque, no doubt. But what I noticed most was the lack of feedback from the suspension and steering column. It felt very light and electronic if you know what I mean. Just a little feedback...

Driven the CL63 as well, definitely gets up. But I could still feel the heaviness.

I'd take it though, the car screams class.

What I felt was the weight plus the inferiority of the suspension and steering. I dont care for the exterior styling, but the inteerior was beautiful.

You must of never been in a 65 amg. It's engine is detuned otherwise it would just destroy the 5 speed they have to put on it. Without detuning it makes over a thousand torque. Step on the gas a little and your well over a 100mph

It's a CL and that used to be the coupe version of the S-class. I really like the CL-class myself, but it's probably never a car you would ask for handling, corning, steering feedbacks.

The CL63 is basically an S class chassis but in a coupe form. Its not meant to have razor sharp steering response like the M3. Its a luxury cruiser with a monster engine.
