Ohlins road and track height adjustment

Anyone ever adjusted the height on these? I've never had coilovers and the car came with them. I'm trying to spin the bottom collar that the manual says is the height adjuster but it's not budging. Is there something else I need to do?

I'm pretty sure you need to remove the damper from the hub first.

Can you speak to me like I'm an idiot and tell me what that means? Is that strut bar connected on the side? I though you should just be able to join the bottom hieght adjuster collar without removing anything else. Ohlins manual on these is pretty awful just goes over install and that's it.

The bottom metal piece (hub) which is attached to the height adjustment collar, is clamped onto the collar. There is no way you can turn the collar without unclamping the hub first.

Yup, you need to loosen the bolt first. I support the hub with a jack, then loosen the spindle bolt and rotate the entire strut assembly.

Thanks. Called with Ohlins to confirm that you indeed have to open the spindle up. spent hours fighting this like an idiot...
