Isn't a coated bearing more for race type application? Thought you had to be much more diligent about preventing contamination so very frequent oil changes were needed. I may have misunderstood and just wanting to clarify.

Quick update. We are currently out of stock, but a ton more will be coming back from the coater in a week or so.

Also, Harrop down under ran a test on our coated bearings and came up with some great results. They installed our bearings last year, beat the crap out of their development car as detailed below, took the bearings out and made a decision to stock and offer them to their clients.

Harrop has been in the tuning game for 55 years and they are a proper engineering company. Nice to see that they (in addition to 100s of other similar clients) feel our coated bearings are a good product :-)

Same car/engine?
How many miles on VAC bearings?
Was there a reason to not show all of the bearings?
Same oil and change intervals?

All great questions. One more...did they do anything to increase clearance or were these simply swapped at the time the supercharger was installed with no other special treatment?

Bump! I would like to know as well.

I already have the VAC (Calico) bearings waiting for installation and I am thinking about swapping them with WPC treated bearings.
