Good quick wheel cleaner?

What do you guys use for in between washes, say every 2-3 days? For black HRE rims. The brake dust is so annoying.

For washes, Sonax ok?

• Normal cleaning-P21S Total Auto Wash (1:10 diluted solution)
• Cleaning – P21S Wheel Cleaner (balanced pH)
• Heavy cleaning – IronX or Sonax Wheel Cleaner (neutralized acid pH 7)

Periodically remove the wheels to thoroughly clean and inspect them for damage

I have been getting great results with Auto Finesse Imperial.

If you already have a spray bottle, I'd recommend the Imperial Concentrate. This gives you the ability to cater the concentration of cleaner depending on how dirty your wheels are. My personal impression is that the normal concentration of Imperial that Auto Finesse sells is enough for majority of the cases, but sometimes it might need a little more bite for those very caked on plaques.

I'd give Martins AF Products a try. I haven't been disappointed with anything that I've purchased from him. Coat them with some of his mint rims and the dust should wipe right off.

Here's a random thought. There's an air duct in front of the tires going through the front fender. I know the driver side has this. Not 100% about the passenger side. Could this duct be causing the dust to be ten times worse on the fronts?

The wheels are fine if you spray them down once a week and easier to maintain with some WheelWax.

What would happen if the air duct was blocked? I wonder if less brake dust would accumulate.

Thoughts?

I just got my wheels with big white lips... a nightmare for lazy guys like me.

Subbed to see other suggestions.

Thinking about picking up some AF products too... Imperial and Mint?

Imperial to clean and mint rims to protect. It will last an easy 3 months if you maintain with proper wheel cleaner.

The other alternative is swap to ceramic brake pads!
