Fair Price is whatever the deal comes to...and that won't likely be 86k

Dude, no one pays full MSRP for the mods that you have mentioned.

Also, if you try to sell the car with mods expect a recovery of 50% street price at best.

If you get an offer of $75k...which you likely won't...i would take it and RUNNNN for the hills!

You're also listing mod values here with installation costs...somewhat misleading!!

Part the car out bro....no chance you will recoop what you're looking for as is.

Thanks for the offer, it was just a feeler. However I love my car and would never let it go for anything less than what I paid full

Than your never going to sell the car, which is fine if you don't want to sell it. Your car stock won't even sell for $60k. Not with 27k miles and damage.

People need to realize a $65k car + $40k in aftermarket parts does not = a $105k car.

Part out the car and sell the car separately. If you can't do the work yourself than your going to get killed on labor costs though.

Ok I have to chime in here..first and foremost...

1) You DO NOT get out what you put into the car in mods..as others have said part out is how this is done

2) How do you figure only $20K in depreciation..putting a blower and completely changing the drivetrain/suspension as you did accelerated depreciation by a whole lot more than $20K..orginality is where the market for these cars are.

3) You have a car that has at LEAST 3 damaged panels

I think you need to re-align your expectations here.

Sentimental value does not = fair market value

sickest car! GLWS, those mods are the best, along with the color combo.

x2! Mark you wont get what you think especially in todays economy... and the damage. Plus aftermarket parts do not hold any value. I would part it out, sell car stock for 50-55k

"People need to realize a $65k car + $40k in aftermarket parts - warranty does not = a $105k car. "

Great looking car but definitely worth the price. There are cars on here that have been supercharged or had the RD stroker motor with as many if not more mods and fewer miles that didn't even get 60k for their car.

This "Reventon" m3 has much more mods and lower mile and sold less than your asking price. You need to redo your calculation

Where are the moderators hiding? How can you guys stand by and watch this nonsense continue. These FS threads are out of control.......can we sticky some realistic prices somewhere so that sellers understand what buyers are willing to pay. The car is only worth what someone is willing to pay......Phil

This should be placed in the title of the FS section....."Sentimental value does not = fair market value".....credit to Tibra 1
