2012 M3 Rear Brake Caliper Covers

Hi everyone

I have a stock 2012 M3 and noticed when collecting my car from a car park that the rear brake caliper covers were missing. It's odd that only the rear set were gone and the front ones were still in place. Anyone had anything similar happen to them?

I may be obtuse here, but wouldn't the brakes fall off without their 'caliper covers'?

That's the rear caliper... that's the way it looks.

Is this for real?

tough crowd...admittedly a few months after owning the car I was looking at the rear calipers one day and thought..geez, did the covers fall off or something, it looks so bare and was debating wit myself whether there was somthing missing or not. I had to look at other BMWs to realize that's the way they're supposed to look. Always paid more attention to the front vs the rear.
